Meet the Hands behind the Knits

Hi! My name is Sky and I founded Seams by Sky. Started in 2018 as a hobby that helped me destress and express myself during my first year of college and after a recent break up, Seams by Sky has grown into a knit and crochet brand that specializes in handmade slow fashion, plushies, and accessories. Most of my products have been made from quality chenille yarn since the brand's conception, partly because of my sensitive skin but also because of my love for all things warm and soft. As a result, I focus on creating pieces that are both comfortable, comforting, and elegant, because I believe all three can coexist!

I've recently graduated college, majoring in Communications and Theater, and I currently work as a Marketing/PR assistant. I've dabbled in fashion history and design, creative writing, metal working/jewelry, and sewing, and all of these has contributed to my love of intersectional and diverse art.
